Welcome to AGWCS

Teams from Samsung, Dell, 3M, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, the Austin Police Department, HEB, and many others will battle it out during a day of fun, excitement and camaraderie.

In addition to the races, this family-friendly, multi-cultural event offers Asian and Pacific Rim music and dance performances, martial arts demonstrations and a “Kids’ Zone” with special activities for children.

Admission to the Festival is FREE.

Asian festival foods will be available for purchase on the grounds. Dragon Boat racing has grown from its origins in ancient China, and is now an international sport. Chinese government officials will be in Austin to attend the Festival, and take part in the “Dotting of the Dragon’s Eye” ceremony prior to the start of the races.
